Skipping Digital

ENESS will stop the public in their gift grabbing tracks this December with an alternative celebration of light at Melbourne’s QV square.

A digital carpet will take over the square after dark and compel interactive connectivity between friends and strangers. Abstract messages and images that overlay the surface will respond to activity and the public will be responsible for designing the space with colourful particles of light as they play through the square.

Attractive apparitions will feed public curiosity and compel dancing, strolling, rolling and skipping.  The square will be charged with beaming energy and paths will materialise as quickly as they will disappear; taking the next step will be as enjoyable as taking the first.

Stamp some seasonal hoo-ha-ha through your feet into the floor, emitting light is liberating, especially from Dec. 13th – Dec 26th, 2007.
