Wabi Sabi Garden

My Dad’s garden is perfectly manicured and something that the settlers would undoubtedly be so proud.  Of course there’s not much room for much desired pets, unruly moss, break out pebbles or a green pool. Alternatively, the new Wabi Sabi restaurant in St Kilda is a lesson in small landscape beauty and low maintenance, aesthetically catering for diners and designers alike. The all-wooden interior is a complement to the outdoor Zen garden that is framed by a decking and houses a distinctive, interactive fish pond created by ENESS. Projecting from the outside wall directly onto the garden floor, goldfish swim through water lilies connecting real and surreal images in a traditional, digital environment.
